Todd Bather was
raised in St.
Clair, Michigan
and visited the
Tawas area during
that time, because
he had relatives
that lived in the
area. Since then,
he has always
wanted to relocate
to Tawas. In 1995,
that dream finally
became a reality
when he and his
wife Julie
purchased Paradise
Beach Resort in
Tawas City, on the
shores of Lake
Huron. Being an
avid fisherman, he
also started a
charter fishing
business that went
well with the
resort. After
three years of
hard labor to get
the resort in tip
top condition, and
creating a waiting
list for weekly
summer rentals,
Todd’s charter
fishing business
was very busy
also. In the down
time in the fall
of 1998, Todd got
his real estate
license and met
his today’s
business partners
Scott and Kimberly
Lingo. He then
started selling
homes at the
Villages of
Oscoda. In
approximately four
years, the three
of them sold the
majority of the
800 homes on the
property. When
that wound down in
2002, they opened
Target Real Estate
Company and the
rest is history.
In the last three
years, Todd has
been on the board
of directors for
Northeastern
Michigan Board of
Realtors, and in
2010 he was the
president. After
selling the resort
in 2000, Todd
feels very
fortunate to still
live on Lake Huron
and continues have
the knowledge of
the market on
those particular
properties. With
the little time he
has left he enjoys
hunting, fishing,
and golfing and is
very familiar with
properties that
meet those
requirements. If
you’re considering
a lakefront home,
hunting property
or any other type
of property, Todd
can help make your
dreams come true.
He made his.

Kimberly (Klenow)
Lingo was born and
raised in East
Tawas. Her Dad who
is almost 80 years
of age still lives
in their old
neighborhood. "I
am proud to own
and operate a
business in my
hometown, it feels
good to give
something back to
the area I love so
much," says Lingo.
Truth be known,
when she graduated
high school and
left home for
Ferris State
University she
doubted she would
be back. At that
age we all want
something
different, right?
Fate had something
else in store
because Kims
summer job on the
beach of Tawas Bay
led her to the
love of her life.
She and Scott
worked for the
same people and to
make a long summer
story short, the
rest is history.
They now reside in
Oscoda and have
two beautiful
children. Hayley
is a first grader
at Holy Family
School in East
Tawas and Jack
Thomas is in
preschool at Cedar
Lake Elementary in
Oscoda. The
Lingo's feel
blessed to able to
sustain themselves
as business owners
in Northeast
Michigan and raise
their children
here. "We are just
comfortable with
the pace of life
here, our aging
parents live here
too and will need
us as time goes
on!" says her
husband and
business partner
Scott, "I am a
true outdoorsman,
I couldn't
envision myself
living anywhere
else! With Lake
Huron, the AuSable
River and Huron
National Forest
out my back door
who could ask for
more?" Kimberly
agrees. For her it
is the beaches.
She loves the
calmness it brings
to walk the
shoreline. "It's
my therapy!" she
states. Please
give Kimberly a
call to discuss
your real estate
needs. She can
tell you first
hand why making a
move to the North
is the right
decision. If you
are considering a
second home,
primary residence,
vacant land etc. I
can help make the
process smooth for
you. Contact

Scott was raised
in Flushing, MI
and his family had
lakefront vacation
homes in this area
all his life. It
was family
tradition to pack
the car each and
every Friday and
venture up north.
Scott grew to love
fishing, hunting
and all that our
area has to offer.
Naturally, when he
graduated from CMU
it was time to
make a life for
himself in Oscoda.
A few years later
he would meet his
wife, Kimberly who
was attending
college at Ferris
State and was home
for the summer.
Kimberly was born
and raised in
Tawas. The two
were married in
1996 and have two
beautiful
children, Hayley
and Jack. They
currently live in
Oscoda and feel
blessed to have
the opportunity to
raise their family
in such a great
area. |

Let me be the
first to welcome
you to The Sunrise
Side.
I would like
to introduce
myself to you by
providing insight
as to how I
conduct business.
A licensed real
estate agent since
2002, I worked in
Lenawee County
prior to moving to
|
|
Iosco County in
2003. I am a
member in good
standing with the
National
Association of
REALTORS®,
Michigan
Association of
REALTORS®,
and Northeastern
Michigan Board of
REALTORS®. I have
also served as
Vice-President for
Arenac County
through my local
board.
I am committed to
providing my
clients
personalized
service tailored
to meet their
specific needs.
One of my best
qualities is
listening to my
clients’ wants and
needs; information
gathered through
active listening
benefits both
sellers and
buyers, as well as
saving you time.
Whether relocating
from out of state
or moving to a new
home in the
immediate area, I
take my client’s
personality into
consideration when
helping them make
a lifestyle
change.
Understanding that
the sale or
purchase of a home
can be
overwhelming, my
knowledge and
experience can be
your best asset as
I involve myself
with the entire
process; from
start to finish. I
will walk side by
side with you to
ensure your best
interests are
represented and
that a smooth sale
or purchase takes
place.
Clients have
commended me for
working with local
government
agencies and
providing them
information that
helped make
important
decisions. Always
available to
answer questions,
I pride myself in
being accessible
to clients and
returning calls,
emails, etc. the
same day.
My previous
experience always
included serving
others, from
sales, account
executive, and
Administrator for
a VP of Sales. On
a personal note,
my volunteer
efforts have also
include serving
others; Habitat
for Humanity,
United States
Naval Sea Cadet
Corp, Girl Scout
troop leader, and
Sunday school
teacher. I enjoy
spending time with
my family,
participating in
the area’s
activities,
sewing, and my
dogs; Yorkies,
Poodle, and
Chihuahua mix.
